Manx athlete takes silver medal and new personal best
Manx athlete Regan Corrin has enjoyed medal success once again whilst competing in Sheffield for his Island club at the weekend.
Representing Manx Harriers, Corrin took part in the high jump contest in the England U17 Championships on Sunday (12 February).
With a best leap of 1.91 metres he went on to claim silver medal in the contest with his result also a new personal best.
Furthermore, the total is also within the 1.90m entry standard for the Island Games which take place this year in Guernsey from 8-14 July.
The Island competitor enjoyed victory in the same city on Sunday, 15 January at the Northern Indoor Track & Field Championships.
There, Corrin took the gold medal in the U17's long jump.
