Manxman continued winning start to 2025 earlier this month

Manx professional boxer Mathew Rennie is hoping he's not too far away from a shot at another title fight.

Earlier this month, 'Magic' Rennie continued his perfect start to 2025 with a unanimous points win over Harley Hodgetts in Liverpool on 11 July.

The Island fighter's only pro defeat so far came in his previous title showdown in a points loss to Sean Noakes for the English Welterweight Title at Wembley Arena in December 2024.

With two more wins since then, Rennie says although his upcoming plans aren't confirmed he remains optimistic that he'll be challenging for another belt in the not too distant future:

Prior to his win on Merseyside this month, Rennie had also registered a points victory over Octavian Gratii in Gibraltar in March in what would be his first success of this calendar year.

Since moving into the pro ranks, the Manx competitor's record stands at 16 wins, one draw and one defeat.
