Manxman able to train full-time from next year
Boxer Matthew Rennie says winning a title will be his 'number one goal' going into 2023.
The unbeaten Manxman, now based in Liverpool, won his final bout of 2022 on 3 December with a points win over Rustem Fatkhullin.
'Magic' Rennie will now also be able to train full-time next year thanks to backing from sponsors.
Whilst he's aiming high, Rennie adds he won't put too much pressure on himself - he also explains how it felt to go long periods between fights during 2022:
Tennis: Douglas based club officially reopens indoor court
FC Isle of Man set for tough test against Chadderton
Football: Top two clash in Division 2
Hockey: Two Bacchas sides could wrap up titles this weekend
