Busy programme of action in Manx Grand Prix

It's the second full day of racing at the 2011 Manx Grand Prix, with the Classic 500 and Formula Classic Races kicking off the action this morning (Wednesday).

Roads around the mountain course are due to close at 9.30am and re-open no later than 9.00pm, with an hour's opening between 5pm and 6pm.

The four-lap Classic races start at 10.15am and this afternoon the Supertwin and Lightweight events will see bikes leave the start line at 1.15.

All of the times are subject to weather and course conditions.

The first event of the day sees the top three from Monday's classic, Ryan Farquhar, Chris Palmer and Roy Richardson, competing again.

Hoping to do well on home turf will be locals Dave Madsen-Mygdal and Chris McGahn, who didn't finish that race.

In the Supertwin and Lightweight events, Andrew Brady will be aiming to replicate his win in this year's Junior Manx Grand Prix.

However, he will be up against the likes of locals Jonny Hegginbotham and Dan Sayle.

You can hear full coverage of the racing from 9.45am on Manx Radio's AM1368 frequency, online at manxradio.com and through Manx Radio's iPhone app.
