First event since Rio for Manx Missile
Mark Cavendish is one of 126 riders competing in the 2016 Tour of Britain which starts today (Sunday).
Fresh from claiming omnium silver in last month’s Olympics, the Manx Missile is among eight medallists taking part.
It will be a first appearance for the 30-time Tour de France stage winner since his success in Rio.
The eight-day event which starts in Glasgow today, concludes in London on 11 September.
