Cav sixth in betting for award

Isle of Man cyclist Mark Cavendish is sixth in the latest betting odds for the BBC Sports Personality of the Year Award.

Yesterday, it was announced on The One Show that the 'Manx Missile' has made the final shortlist of ten for the prestigious prize.

He is quoted at 40 to 1 to win, and the odds-on favourite is Formula One world champion Jenson Button.
