Manx Missile joins Astana Qazaqstan team in Italy
Mark Cavendish is back in action in Italy this week taking part in the Tirreno Adriatico.
The Manx cyclist has been selected for his Astana Qazaqstan team, marking a return to racing after pulling out of last month's UAE Tour with sickness.
There are seven stages of the race totalling 1,119km - an average stage distance of 159.7km.
The event gets underway today in Lido di Camaiore with a 10km stage.
The final 154km stage is on Sunday in San Benedetto del Tronto.
