Isle of Man cycling superstar Mark Cavendish is now second favourite in the betting for BBC Sports Personality of the Year.
Before being crowned world road race champion in Copenhagen on Sunday, Cav was quoted at 33/1 to win the end of year prize.
However, the odds have been slashed and he is now second favourite, at 4/1, behind British Open golf winner Darren Clarke.
During 2011, the 'Manx Missile' won the green points jersey at the Tour de France for the first time, and became the only competitor in the history of the event to win the final stage in Paris for a third consecutive year.
The BBC Sports Personality of the Year will take place at MediaCity in Salford on Thursday, December 22.
