Lineups confirmed for first Spring Classic of the season
Team Sky has confirmed its lineup for Saturday's Milan-San Remo, and both Peter Kennaugh and Ben Swift have been selected.
Manxman Kennaugh and Onchan resident Swift will be alongside Michal Kwiatkowski, Salvatore Puccio, Luke Rowe, Ian Stannard, Geraint Thomas and Elia Viviani.
Swift finished third in the 2014 running of the race, which is traditionally the first Spring Classic of every cycling season.
Following the one-day race, he will head straight down to Spain with Thomas to join the likes of Chris Froome, Wout Poels and Nicolas Roche in Team Sky's lineup for the Volta a Catalunya.
Mark Cavendish, who won Milan-San Remo in 2009 on his debut, will be there for Team Dimension Data, and is backing team mate Edvald Boasson Hagen to be in with a shout of victory on Saturday.
