Mark Cavendish enjoyed another fantastic day in the Giro d'Italia.
The Manxman took second place, behind High Road teammate Andre Greipel, at the end of the 192 kilometre 17th stage, from Sondrio in Italy to the Swiss town of Locarno.
At the finish line Greipel acknowledged Cavendish's big contribution to his win, saying it was 'a team victory', and suggested it wouldn't have happened without the Manxman's contribution.
Cavendish has already won two stages of the gruelling event, making it one of the highlights of his career to date.
Stage 18 is tomorrow, and the Giro d'Italia finishes with a time-trial in Milan on Sunday.
