C’Town move to Div Two summit

St George’s are back in a familiar position in the Canada Life Premier League.

The reigning champions returned to the summit with a 5-0 success at basement battlers Ramsey.

The prolific Ciaran McNulty was the hero with four goals with Chris Bass junior netting the other.

They are firm favourites to retain the title.

Elsewhere, Braddan remain in the drop zone after going down 5-2 at home to Old Boys.

Gary Quirk (two), Dean France, Danny Corrin and an own goal sealed the points.

Castletown have moved top of JCK Division Two after a 3-0 home victory over Malew in the southern derby.

A first half goal from Connor Garrett put Town in front before Patrick Cooper and Josh Duncan added more after the break.

Malew lost their discipline late on and finished with nine men.

Union Mills were 4-2 home winners over Gymns, courtesy of Lee Christian, James Lace, Craig Ennett and an own goal.

The visitors found the net through Adam Johnson and Daniel Kewley, against his former club.
