It looks as if the 2012 Manx Grand Prix Festival will go ahead as planned.
That's despite the Isle of Man Government making a loss on the event, revealed this week to be about £369,000.
However, the ecomonic analysis is only part of a bigger exercise, with a questionnaire currently in circulation and focus group meetings.
In recent times the MGP was rebranded, and Department of Economic Development chief executive Colin Kniveton says that exercise has shown promise:
Rugby: Bevan Rodd on bench for England's opening Six Nations match
MGP 26: A new Quayle set for the start line
Football: Douglas Royal face Peel in Floodlit Cup Final clash
Hockey: Three wins for Island sides in England Championships
