The Isle of Man has picked up its first medal of the Commonwealth Games, after Mark Christian claimed bronze in the 40km men's points race.
The 20-year-old rode a brilliant tactical race to finish joint-third with Wales' Sam Harrison on 37 points, but won the bronze after beating the Welshman in the final sprint.
The gold was won by Australia's Cameron Meyer, who dominated proceedings and lapped the field three times.
Silver went to young English rider George Atkins.

His Manx team-mate Chris Whorrall finished some way down the field, but rode selflessly thoughout the race and played a big part in helping Mark get the bronze medal.
