Classic TT: 2025 Formula One race top-20 announced

Hopes 'showpiece' event can be 'throwback to great races'

It's been confirmed who will be the first riders away in the Formula One race at this year's Classic TT.

The three-lap race is hoping to be a 'throwback to the great races of the 1980s and 90s' and is being described as 'one of the showpiece events' of this year's meeting.

Among the entries are a host of current TT competitors on a range machinery including Kawasaki ZXR750's, Ducati 916's and Suzuki XR69's.

Leading the field away will be Manxman Nathan Harrison at no.1 followed by Dominic Herbertson at no.2 with last year's Classic Superbike MGP winner, Mike Brown at no.3.

Elsewhere in the field, Michael Dunlop MBE is listed at no.6 although his machinery is yet to be confirmed.

Meanwhile, 2022 Classic Superbike MGP winner Rob Hodson will start from no.9 with 16-time TT winner, Ian Hutchinson at no.12.

Outside the top 20 the current TT riders keep on coming with the likes of Marcus Simpson, Sam West, Joey Thompson and Timothee Monot also entered.

The 2025 Classic TT will run parallel to the 2025 Manx Grand Prix with both events taking place between 17-29 August - you can view a full schedule for both events HERE.
