Famous names and machines expected to be involved
The Classic Sidecar Parade is set to return once more at this month's Classic TT.
Four decades of three-wheeled racing will be celebrated in a special one-lap event which is due to take place on Wednesday, 26 August.
The occasion is expected to feature famous twin-cylinder, four-cylinder, four-stroke and two-stroke sidecar machinery from between the years of the early 1960's to 1990.
Currently, 31 teams are signed up with the lineup expected to include star drivers and passengers of years gone by.
Among those expected to be involved are 17-time Sidecar TT winner, Dave Molyneux; eight-time sidecar world champion, Tim Reeves and previous TT-winning drivers, John Holden and Conrad Harrison.
As it stands, the parade will take place at 12.15pm on Wednesday, 26 August between the Formula One Classic TT and Lightweight Classic & Ultra-Lightweight Classic TT races on the same day.
