Classic TT: McGuinness to lead out Historic Junior Classic for 2025

Honda machinery dominates top-20 seeded entries

John McGuinness MBE will be first on the road for the Historic Junior Classic race at the 2025 Classic TT.

The top-20 seeded riders for the class have been confirmed with 23-time TT champion McGuinness away on the no.1 plate for the Steadplan Racing team in a field dominated by Honda CB350 K4 machinery.

Also among the first three riders out on course will be 2023 Senior MGP winner and Manxman, Joe Yeardsley on the Ken Rutter Racing Honda at no.2 and 2025 double TT winner, Dean Harrison on Honda power provided by Craven Classic Racing/Ted Woof.

Elsewhere across the seeded entries are multiple current TT competitors turning their hand to classic racing.

They include Jamie Coward (no.4); Michael Evans (no.5); Davey Todd (no.8); Michael Sweeney (no.13) and more.

Separately, last year's Classic Junior MGP winner, Harley Rushton will start at no.12.

Only two riders inside the top-20 are not due to run Honda power with Shaun Anderson at no.15 piloting a WizNorton Racing DKW W2000 and Barry Furber at no.17 running a Ducati Sebring.

This year's Classic TT will take place on the Snaefell Mountain Course from 17-29 August and will run parallel to the 2025 Manx Grand Prix - the event schedule is available HERE.
