Jake Keeling behind 'Country Pursuits'
An Island Games multi-medalist has created a new venture for outdoor enthusiasts.
'Country Pursuits' is based at Skyhill Plantation in Ramsey and offers clay shooting and something new to Manx shores.
Stalwart of the sport Jake Keeling is the man behind the facility, which he hopes to expand in the future to include equestrian and fishing activities.
Keeling says he's excited about introducing locals to lazer shooting:
Meanwhile, the multi-Commonwealth-Games competitor has also been reflecting on how his sport eludes age restrictions that twart many other athletes when it comes to competing at an elite level.
Jake has represented both the Isle of Man and Team GB in multiple world class events for more than two decades.
And though the pandemic has put a halt to all competitions for now, he says the good thing about shooting is being able to keep your hand in at a high standard longer than others:
