Colby win big match

Michael and Colby extended their lead as the top two in JCK Division Two on Saturday.

Goals from Matty Brand, Paul Corlett, Danny Chalk and Kevin Pulman ensured Michael won 4-0 at bottom club Ronaldsway to stay out in front.

But the big win of the day came as Colby saw off Ramsey Youth Centre 2-1 to consolidate second place.

Adam Fretwell hit both goals to surprise the promotion tipped northerners.

There was drama at Malew as Ayre grabbed a last-gasp winner to seal a 4-3 success.

Doubles from Jason Craine and Tony Corlett ensure the Tangerines sealed all three points.

Malew, who trailed 3-1 at one point, looked like they would get an unlikely point through goals from Adam Drewitt and Mark Corrin (two).

Douglas Royal displayed their potential with a stunning 9-0 win at Onchan.

Both sides have made struggling starts but Royal produced a dominant display.

Paul Whitley was the star of the show with four goals.

Ryan Kelly (penalty), Matthew Entwistle , Gavin Gawne and McCann were among the other scorers.

Braces from Craig Cowin and Conrad Creamore sealed a fine win for Douglas and District as they thrashed unpredictable Foxdale 4-0.

Braddan won 1-0 at Douglas Athletic in the remaining match.
