Cricket: 2024 Manx cricket season getting underway

Opening T20 weekend league matches taking place during Saturday (27 April)

The 2024 Isle of Man cricket season is set to get underway today (27 April).

Starting off the latest campaign will be the T20 weekend divisions with six games across the premier, division one and division two competitions.

In the top flight, Cronkbourne will welcome Crosby at 11am whilst Valkyres welcome Peel to King William's College at 3pm.

Meanwhile in division one, both matches start at 12pm with Peel vs Cronkbourne and Ramsey vs Crosby.

Division Two will see Castletown and Cronkbourne host Valkyres and Finch Hill respectively with the two matches getting underway at 3pm.

Separately, the T20 midweek league competition is due to start next Wednesday (1 May) and just under two weeks later the Women's Division will commence (13 May).

The longer format league matches in the men's leagues are due to start from 15 June with the T10 campaigns starting on 24 July.
