Island competitor one of three shortlisted for August accolade
Isle of Man cricketer, Lucy Barnett has been nominated for the ICC Player of the Month award for August.
The Manx competitor is one of three international players shortlisted for the accolade.
The other two are Suleeporn Laomi and Nannapat Koncharoenkai, both of Thailand.
Barnett's nomination comes after a stellar performance at the 2026 Continental Cup in Romania last month where the Isle of Man women's national side finished runners-up.
As well as the team reaching the final, Barnett was named tournament MVP after managing one century and two half-centuries on the way to securing 257 runs in total as well as taking four wickets.
Voting is now open for which of the three nominees will win the August award, details of which can be found HERE.
The deadline for people to cast their vote will be at 10.30am on Monday, 14 September.
