Cal Crutchlow will be aiming for a first MotoGP podium this weekend.
And the Ramsey resident will have a partisan crowd to roar him on, as the latest round of the championship is the British MotoGP at Silverstone.
A crash in qualifying last year put him out of the race.
Crutchlow has had a pretty solid second season at this level so far, securing a couple of fourth-place finishes.
And he has the backing of 2010 champion Jorge Lorenzo.
Lorenzo has said he believes Crutchlow has the talent and potential to become a MotoGP champion in the future.
He adds that if Crutchlow finds more consistency, he will win races and attain podium finishes.
