Cal Crutchlow is determined to compete in the British MotoGP at Silverstone today, despite breaking and dislocating his ankle
The Ramsey resident revealed the true extent of his injury on Twitter earlier, saying, "I have a broken and dislocated left ankle. Its back in place now but worst pain i’ve had so will try my best in race".
He suffered the injury in the final practice session, which ruled him out of yesterday's qualifying.
Crutchlow will therefore start today's race from the back of the grid.
