
The Isle of Man launched its defence of the FA National League Systems Cup on Saturday with a 2-1 away win at Wearside.
Substitute Niall Cummins was the match-winner with the decisive goal at the start of extra-time after the sides were locked at 1-1 after 90 minutes.
The Island had taken a 12th minute lead through Callum Morrissey, who also had a goal disallowed for off-side.
Wearside came back strongly in the second period and levelled through Derek Newton but Cummins had the final word to set up a last 16 tie with Liverpool.
