Cycling: International Stage Race set for Island

Roads to be closed during event

Elite cyclists, both professional and amateur, are readying themselves for battle this week in a 3-day event.

Hundreds are expected to compete in the Manx Telecom International Stage Road Race.

It's part of the annual British Cycling National Road Race Series, which consists of 8 events spread across the British Isles.

The Isle of Man's stage is on from Friday 22-24 July.

It means there will be a number of road closures during this time.
