Several elite Manx competitors were involved in it last year
One of UK's biggest cycle race series, The Tour Series, will not be taking place in 2023.
The prestigious event - which saw numerous elite Manx competitors take part in last year - is taking a one-year hiatus.
Organisers say this is due to 'the most challenging economic climate the series has faced' since it first started in 2009.
Last year, Manx rider Matthew Bostock was crowned men's champion of the event whilst his team at the time, Wiv SunGod, were crowned the top team of the whole series.
Elsewhere, fellow Island racers Tom and Leon Mazzone were part of the Saint Piran squad which finished fourth overall.
The series organisers add they intend to bring back the competition in 2024 for its 15th anniversary.
