Dame Kelly Holmes is on the Island to launch the Isle of Man Sporting Excellence Programme over the weekend.
The scheme will support over 50 athletes and 30 coaches to try and reach the top of their sport.
The partnership brings together Kelly Holmes Education, the Island's Commonwealth Games Association, Isle of Man Sport and the Coaches Association.
Dame Kelly has visited these shores a number of times over the past few years, including the Commonwealth Youth Games last September.
She says bringing her programme here was down to a number of factors:-
Athletics: New personal best for Regan Corrin
Snooker: Blinders cut Hurricane's lead
Rugby: Bevan Rodd on bench for England's opening Six Nations match
MGP 26: A new Quayle set for the start line
