The door is still open for cycling star Mark Cavendish to compete for the Isle of Man at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi.
That's the message from the Manx team management as final arrangements are made ahead of the trip to India in October.
The event clashes with the World Road Race Championship over a course in Melbourne, which is said to favour the sprinters.
Cav has made no secret of the fact he is targeting the race in Australia, but Isle of Man general team manager Trevor Taubman hasn't ruled out Cavendish flying in for the road race at the end of the Delhi games:
Rugby: Bevan Rodd on bench for England's opening Six Nations match
MGP 26: A new Quayle set for the start line
Football: Douglas Royal face Peel in Floodlit Cup Final clash
Hockey: Three wins for Island sides in England Championships
