Ramsey thrash Wallasey
Douglas recorded an emphatic 75-17 win against Manchester at Port-e-Chee in North West One on Saturday.
Wing Nick Brooker was undoubtedly the star of the show with five tries.
Aiden O’Shea and Bryn Snellgrove both ran in two and there were single tries from Glyn Hooson-Owen, Conor Stephens and James Maddrell.
Points machine Snellgrove also kicked 10 conversions for a 30 point personal haul.
Vagabonds leaked 16 tries as they lost away to Wigan in South Lancashire/Cheshire Division Two and, with fourth placed Liverpool Collegiate visiting Ballafletcher next weekend, the prospects don’t look good.
Vagas do, however, travel to fellow strugglers Oldershaw in a fortnight for a game they are surely targeting for points.
In Division Three South, Ramsey picked up a bonus point win on the road at Wallasey, coming away with a 71-0 victory.
There were two tries apiece for Dave Keenan, Henry Swithinbank, Harri Radford and Dan Bonwick with other scores coming from Nathan Thompson, Will Wren and Ali Trace.
