
Douglas slipped to only their third defeat of the season when they lost 54-31 away at Northwich in South Lancashire/Cheshire Division One.
They did however cross for five tries to earn them a single bonus point for their efforts.
Nick Hughes, Glyn Hooson-Owen, Carl Markl-Ferns, Daryn Thompson and Liam King were all on target with tries and Bryn Snellgrove kicked three conversions.
With close rivals Glossop also losing, Douglas hold onto their second place.
