
Douglas continued their winning streak with a 28-14 win at home to Moore in EuroManx SouthLancashire/Cheshire Division Three.
An Ady Shimmin try, plus two penalties from Bryn Snellgrove, gave Douglas an early lead but three Moore penalties saw the half time score finely balance at just 11-9.
In the second half Moore’s big pack ran out of steam and Douglas were able to take advantage out wide.
Two well taken tries from Andy Hollis, together with two conversions and a penalty from Snellgrove, finished the visitors off as Douglas started to build up a serious push for promotion.
