Dunlop wins 16 days after Southern 100 crash

19-time TT winner takes two victories at Armoy Road Races

Michael Dunlop returned to the top step of the podium just 16 days after fracturing his pelvis in action on the Isle of Man.

The 19-time TT winner won both Superbike races at the Armoy Road Races, despite suffering injuries at the Southern 100 earlier this month.

The 30-year-old needed crutches and a stool in order to get on and off the bike, but pushed through the pain barrier to win the open race by 4.4 seconds.

In an Instagram story, he later revealed he had to go to A&E after the adrenaline had worn off.
