Debutants Cascadia beaten 4-1
Ellan Vannin have won their opening game of the ConIFA World Football Cup, beating Cascadia 4-1.
They took the lead through Ste Whitley on 15 minutes, before former Manchester United academy player Josh Doughty equalised three minutes later with what was Cascadia's first competitive goal.
Ellan Vannin regained the lead on 41 minutes through Frank Jones.
They then took hold of the match in the second half.
Sam Caine scored a magnificent individual effort on 62 minutes, starting his run in his own half and beating four Cascadia players before slotting home.
Jack McVey wrapped up the scoring, hitting a stunning free kick from about 25 yards in the 70th minute.
