Vagas’ Ladies win on the road
Emerging Nomads beat Castletown 69-14 at Poulsom Park in the Shimmin Wilson Manx Shield.
Footballer Furo Davies ran in a hat-trick for Nomads as did Jack Emerson and John Ali.
Martin Charker and Orry Watterson also got one each and Davies showed his all-round rugby ability by kicking eight conversions.
Vagabonds won away at Ormskirk and moved up the Womens NC North 1 table in the process.
They’ve climbed to fourth place just ahead of close rivals Chester Devas who play tomorrow (Sunday).
