Annual event sees hundreds take on 85-mile course
Entries have opened today (1 December) for the 2026 Manx Telecom Parish Walk.
Next year's edition of the event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 20 June next year.
The annual challenge sees hundreds of participants take on all or part of an 85-mile walking route spanning across the Isle of Man and is open to people of all ages and abilities.
Those who take part do so for a variety of reasons including race walking competitively, achieving personal goals or raising funds and awareness for important causes.
People have exactly 24 hours to complete as much of the course as they choose.
Anyone interested in taking part in the 2026 event is asked to enter online at www.parishwalk.com, and a discount will be available for those who sign up before 28 February next year.
The final deadline for all entries will be on 4 May, 2026.
