Third party insurance for all involved
A European Court ruling could make it compulsory for anyone using any form of motorised transport to have third party damage and injury insurance.
A statement from the Motorcycle Industry Association and the ACU says if adopted in the U.K. it could end all motorsport.
That's because the insurance industry believes third party risks for motorsport activities are uninsurable.
It's believed the judgement could even affect sit-on lawnmowers, golf buggies and mobility scooters.
Chief Executive of the Motorcycle Industry Association Steve Kenwood says it's important everyone voices their opposition in a British Government consultation:-
