Family involvement important for Cyclefest

Aim is to attract as many as possible

Getting as many people involved in Isle of Man Cyclefest is the main aim of the organisers.

That's the message following last night's launch of the 2017 edition at Noa Bakehouse.

Away from the sport, there's a music festival with Davy Knowles already booked to perform at Milntown.

There's an artisan food festival and entertainment for youngsters including an appearance from Titan the Robot.

For the serious cyclists, there's the Storm the Tower hill climb and the Battle of Sky Hill mountain bike race on Saturday and the Gran Fondo on Sunday.

But Cyclefest Ambassador Andrew Roche says the community events such as the schools challenge and the Big Ride for Rebecca House are equally important:-

Cyclefest presented by Isle of Man Bank takes place from Friday 12th May to Sunday 14th May 2017.
