Fantastic Hockey Finale on Saturday

Who wins what will be decided this Saturday as many issues in the Men's and Ladies' Hockey Leagues go to the final round of fixtures.

The biggest prize up for grabs is the Men's Premier League title with technically three teams still in with a shout following matches played on Sunday.

The top two - Valkyrs "A" and Vikings "A" drew one-all with Neil Jacobs and Conor Byrne respectively scoring.

Meanwhile reigning Champions Bacchas "A" kept their slim hopes alive with an 8-2 win over Bacchas "B", who led 2-1 with 15 minutes remaining. Sean Corlett and Ashley Sykes scored for a battling "B" team with Karl Moore leading the way for the "A" side.

Vikings "A" and Valkyrs "A" are both on 19 points - Vikings are top courtesy of goal difference 6 better than Valkyrs. Bacchas "A" are on 17 points, but have a better goal difference than both sides ahead of them.

The final fixtures - Valkyrs "A" play Castletown "A" and Vikings "A" face Bacchas "A".

If Bacchas win, they will finish above Vikings at the very least. Even if Vikings win, it may not be good enough if Valkyrs win by a substantial margin.

The other issues still to be decided - either Harlequins or Valkyrs "B" will be relegated from the Men's Premier League, Ramsey need to beat Saracens by a huge margin to pip them to promotion from Division One.....and Bacchas "B" need a point or more against third placed Castletown "B" to win Women's Division One ahead of Valkyrs "B", who have already finished their campaign.
