Ravens hoping for repeat of win over their opponents earlier this season

FC Isle of Man hit the road once again this weekend with the challenge of looking to overcome Stafford Town.

Going into the weekend, the Ravens remain second in the NWCFL Div 1 South table on 67 points.

They're five points behind league leaders, West Didsbury & Chorlton and seven ahead of New Mills in third.

However, FC IOM have played two games more than West Didsbury & Chorlton and three games more than New Mills.

Last time out, FC IoM claimed four points from a possible six in a hectic double-header last weekend at The Bowl (12-13 February).

A below-par 0-0 draw against Cammell Laird was then followed by a narrow 1-0 victory over Eccleshall the following day.

Stafford Town will be out for revenge after losing to the Ravens 6-2 at The Bowl back on 6 November.

The Island team's opponents have had a recent slump in form with four defeats in their last six matches and now sit 10th in the league standings.

However, they did get back to winning ways in their previous game with a 2-1 win away at Barnton on 5 February.

Stafford Town vs FC Isle of Man will take place at Evans Park this Saturday, 19 February, with kick-off scheduled for 1.45pm.
