Ravens could go second in table if New Mills lose this weekend

FC Isle of Man will be looking to continue their scintillating form at the start of 2022 when they welcome Barnton to The Bowl this Saturday (29 January).

The Ravens have won all four of their games at the start of the year so far - the most recent a thrilling 5-2 victory over Cheadle Town last weekend (22 January).

The Island side sit third in the NWCFL Div 1 South rankings currently on 57 points, ten points clear of the teams outside the play-off places.

A win for them this time out could lift them up to second if New Mills lose at home to high-flying league leaders West Didsbury & Chorlton this weekend.

Next up for FC IoM are Barnton who travel to the Isle of Man 15th in the table with a nine-point gap between them and the relegation zone.

'The Villagers' - based in Cheshire - have had some encouraging form of late with just one defeat in their last six (two wins and three draws) in all competitions.

Their last fixture saw them secure a comprehensive 4-1 win at home over Rocester.

The visitors' last defeat in the league came back on 20 November, 2021, going down 2-1 to Alsager Town.

FC Isle of Man vs Barnton will kick-off at The Bowl this Saturday (29 January) at 6.30pm.

Manx Radio will be providing full live commentary of the clash on our AM1368 and Digital platforms.
