Avoiding defeat would all but secure Premier Division status for Ravens

FC Isle of Man are in for a 'really tough game' when they welcome West Didsbury & Chorlton back to the Bowl this weekend, according to the team's interim manager.

The two sides were league rivals last season, before both securing promotion to the North West Counties Football League Premier Division.

The Ravens sit 10 points clear of the relegation zone with six matches to play, and know avoiding defeat this weekend would all but secure their place in the division next season.

They come into the match following a 5-3 defeat to Longridge Town, which has left the Manx side 20th in the table, and with just one win in their last four matches.

The visitors have adapted well to the Premier Division, sitting ninth in the table with just one defeat in their last nine league outings.

The hosts are boosted by the return of defender Chris Cannell, who's been out injured since August.
