Ravens face league's top scorers after securing safety last weekend
Having secured their league safety last weekend, FC Isle of Man have a quick turnaround as they head on the road tonight (31 March) in the NWCFL Premier Division.
They face a difficult task away at a free-scoring Chadderton side which is right in the fight for promotion this season.
'The Ravens' will be hoping to avenge their narrow loss to their opponents in the reverse fixture less than three weeks ago.
However, Rick Holden's side face the league's current top scorers who've netted 117 times so far and also still have a mathematical outside chance of challenging for the league title.
Whilst on paper FC Isle of Man travel to Manchester as underdogs, they have in fact won on both of their previous visits to their hosts this evening.
Should the Islanders upset the odds and take maximum points, it would mark their first back-to-back wins in the division since mid-February.
Meanwhile, Chadderton have been in flying form in recent months having lost just twice since late January.
Those two defeats have come in their last two games against fellow promotion hunters, Ramsbottom United and Atherton Laburnum Rovers.
What's more, Ben Greenidge and Carl Taylor's team remain dark horses to challenge for the NWCFL Premier Division crown - they sit eight points off the top with 15 points still to play for.
Chadderton vs FC Isle of Man takes place tonight at the Emplas Commercial North Stadium, kicking-off at 7.45pm.
