Ravens narrowly beat their opponents earlier this season

FC Isle of Man will be targeting three wins in a row for the first time this season when they take on Litherland at The Bowl tomorrow afternoon (10 December).

The Ravens and their opponents sit 18th and 20th respectively in the NWCFL Premier Division going into today's clash which will kick-off at the earlier time of 4.30pm.

The Manx side beat the Merseyside outfit 2-1 away at Litherland Sports Park back on 3 August.

But FC Isle of Man's interim manager, Paul Jones, says their opponents this weekend could pose different types of challenges:

FC Isle of Man go into this weekend with three wins from their last six in all competitions.

Victory tomorrow could see them go 14 points clear of the relegation zone.

Young striker, Tom Creer, will also be hoping to add to his recent good return in front of goal - he has two goals from his last two games.

Litherland REMYCA, meanwhile, currently trail the Ravens by nine points in the standings having also played a game more.

They have just one win in their last eleven in all competitions with the win coming against NWCFL Div 1 North outfit, South Liverpool, in the second round of the Liverpool Senior Cup.

Litherland REMYCA have netted 20 times in 22 league games so far - only bottom-of-the-table Ashton Athletic have scored fewer (19).

However, the Merseyside club have not lost by more than a one-goal margin since 15 October and boast one of the best defensive records in the bottom half of the table.

FC Isle of Man vs Litherland REMYCA kicks-off at The Bowl this Saturday (10 December) at 4.30pm.

Manx Radio will be providing full live match commentary on Manx Radio Digital.
