Traditional New Year Day race
The St. John's Fell Race gets the new sporting year up and running.
Registration is at the football clubhouse at Mullen-e-Cloie from 12.15pm for an hour and the race starts at 1.30pm.
The 5km route is through Slieuwhallian plantation and the organising Manx Fell Runners wish to thank the Department of Environment for granting access.
Conditions are expected to be muddy after all the recent bad weather.
Many competitors will run in fancy dress but it is strongly recommended that everyone carries a waterproof jacket.
All entry fees will be donated to charity.
