Villa Gaiety makes decision due to forecast poor weather
The first day of this year's Isle of Man Festival of Darts at the Villa Marina in Douglas has been cancelled.
Villa Gaiety has made the decision due to the poor weather being forecast on Island throughout today (9 March).
The festival - which runs until Sunday (12 March) - was due to start with Isle of Man Masters Men's & Ladies competitions from 7.30pm tonight.
However, Villa Gaiety adds all events at the complex - including the darts festival - are due to go ahead as planned tomorrow (10 March).
On Friday, doors are currently scheduled to open from 11.30am for the Isle of Man Classic, Isle of Man Open Mixed Pairs, and Isle of Man Disabed Event 1.
