British Champs all set to go
Officials at the Department of Economic Development want Islanders to show up in force to support riders during the British Cycling Championships.
The major sporting event starts on Thursday morning at 11am with both the men and women's time trials, whilst the road races take place this Sunday.
Head of Tourism Angela Byrne is hoping the public comes out to cheer on the cyclists and watch local stars like Mark Cavendish and Peter Kennuagh.
A dedicated 'cycling village' has also been built near the TT grandstand in Douglas, with local produce on offer.
Ms Byrne told Manx Radio the Department wants to create a real atmosphere for the event:
Athletics: New personal best for Regan Corrin
Snooker: Blinders cut Hurricane's lead
Rugby: Bevan Rodd on bench for England's opening Six Nations match
MGP 26: A new Quayle set for the start line
