Side put floodlit cup defeat behind them
Corinthians have been crowned women's FA Cup winners after beating Malew on Sunday (16 March).
The Douglas side came into the final as favourites, whilst the Southerners made their first final in almost 20 years.
The league leaders scored quickly through Kiera Morgan to open the scoring before Milly Dawson doubled the lead.
As the half drew to a close, it seemed the tie was only going to go one way.
But a quick fire double from Malew's Rosabel Cardy saw the Southerners level with 30 minutes to go.
There was another twist however, and with 70 minutes gone, Corinthians found themselves back in front through a header from Sarah O'Reilly.
As the game drew to a close, the Ballafletcher side then added two more as Morgan got a second, and Holly Stephen adding the fifth.
