Manxman had been with Cumbrian club since 2023
Manx footballer, Freddie O'Donoghue has been released by National League side, Carlisle United.
The Cumbrian club has confirmed the former Peel player is one of 13 players on its released list following the conclusion of the 2025/26 season.
In August last year, O'Donoghue signed his first professional contract at Carlisle United and spent the first half of last season on loan at Scottish side, Queen of the South.
Further back, O'Donoghue first joined 'The Blues' at 16 years old in March 2023 on a two-year scholarship.
As Carlisle United confirmed its list of squad members let go and retained, the club's Head of Football Operations, Marc Tierney, said: "On behalf of everyone at Carlisle United, I’d like to thank each of the departing players for their contribution during their time at Brunton Park and wish them all the very best for their future careers."
