Southern club looking for someone to take role 'with immediate effect'

Malew AFC has begun its search a for a new men's first team manager.

The southern club says it's looking for someone to take up the position 'with immediate effect.'

The Clagh Vane-based side adds it can offer a number of incentives including 'a supportive club committee and infrastructure' and 'financial support towards coaching qualifications.'

During the 2024/25 campaign, Malew finished tenth in Ardern & Druggan Ltd. Division 2 winning two of their league outings.

In cup competitions they suffered n 8-0 first round defeat in the Ecap FA Cup to Governors Athletic on 4 January. 

That was followed two weeks later (18 January) by a penalty shootout loss to Ramsey Youth Centre & Old Boys in the first round of the GH Corlett Woods Cup.

The team forfeited seven of its last nine games of the season in all competitions due to being unable to field a team on those occasions.
