Football: Michael United to launch women's team

Players of all abilities being invited to get involved

Michael United Football Club is set to start it's own women's team.

The club is now inviting female players of all abilities to register their interest should they wish to join.

Training sessions for the squad will begin on Saturday, 24 June from 11.30am to 1pm at Kirk Michael football pitch.

Efforts have been underway since March this year to gauge interest and build numbers to form a women's side.

Anyone interested in getting involved is being asked to message the Michael United Facebook page.
