Men's squad to welcome Logos Hope International Team to The Bowl
The Isle of Man men's national football side will return to action in a charity match later this month.
The Manx squad will take on the Logos Hope International Team at The Bowl in Douglas on Wednesday, 18 November at 7pm.
The meeting of the two sides is to celebrate International Men's Day with the Isle of Man's opponents visiting the Island between 10-23 November.
Entry to the match will be £2 for adults and admission is free for children with all proceeds going to Mannin Cancers Support Group.
Collection buckets will also be stationed around the stadium on the night for anyone wishing to make contributions to the cause.
Logos Hope is the world's largest floating bookfair with more than 5,000 titles on board, and typically stays in each port it visits for around two weeks and can end up welcoming thousands of visitors each day.
The organisation says that, on average, one million visitors are welcomed on board one of its ships each year.
The vessel is currently stationed in Liverpool until next Monday (9 October) before docking in the Isle of Man between 10-23 November.
After that, Logos Hope has future trips already planned to Malta and Cape Verde.
